Sonic on Windows 3.1

This guide will tell you how to set up Windows 3.1(1 for Workgroups) in Dosbox, set up sound drivers and play some Sonic on it! What you'll need for this:

The first thing you must do is download Dosbox at https://www.dosbox.com. After you've downloaded it, try to get familiar with MS-DOS. Make sure you get to grips with directories! Now it's time for the real part. Copy the URL above and download the zip file (or torrent) and extract it. You should now have a folder called "win31". Open Dosbox and type Mount C "/directory/to/file/ . Be sure to put your own custom directory in! The type C: and press enter. Now type autoexec . If everything went well, you should now see the best version of Microst Windows. BONUS: How to set up Sonic the Screensaver First, download Sonic the Screensaver from archive.org. If it is a zip file, extract it. Now go back to the win31 folder. You can either put the Sonic the Screensaver folder there, or make a new folder if you're planning on adding a shit ton of applications to Windows 3.1. Open Windows 3.1 and click on main and open file manager. Navigate to the folder containing Sonic the Screensaver and run setup.exe by clicking on it. You'll have Sonic the Hedgehog "saving" your screen in no time!.
